Collectivism Residency

Haarlem Artspace is seeking 5 individuals to join us for our Spring
project ‘Collectivism’ which involves a four-day residency and
one-day conference bringing people together for an exchange
of ideas on the themes of collectivism, resilience and
collaboration. The one-day conference Resilience through
Collectivism will be the second Derbyshire Creative Heritage
conference and is in partnership with Junction Arts.

MacDowell seeks applications for the summer 2019 residency season.

The MacDowell Colony provides time, space, and an inspiring environment to artists of exceptional talent. A MacDowell Fellowship consists of exclusive use of a studio, accommodations, and three prepared meals a day for two weeks to two months. There are no residency fees. Artists are responsible for materials and travel expenses: financial assistance is available to artists in residence based on need.

MacDowell encourages applications from artists representing the widest possible range of perspectives and demographics. The sole criterion for acceptance is artistic excellence.

Match funded studio places available

Cockpit Arts is an award winning social enterprise and the UK’s only business incubator for craftspeople, housing up to 170 small businesses at our two centres in central and south London. We support craft practitioners at the start of their careers, as well as those who are more established, to grow and build successful and thriving businesses both in the UK and internationally.

We’ve got two opportunities for talented makers to join our Cockpit Arts community on match-funded places comprising studio space and support for one year.

The Cockpit Arts / Clear Insurance Award 2017 specifically aims to support professional makers who have been in business for less than three years and have aspirations to develop their craft business.
