Mind Body Spirit

J. Mane Gallery invites submissions for its mind body spirit online juried art exhibition.  

Oscar Wilde said, "Every portrait that is painted with feeling is a portrait of the artist, not of the sitter."

Throughout history, the human figure has always been a common subject of visual art, involving the study and appreciation of it's beauty in it's depiction and presentation.  An awareness of the body shape, including postures like sitting, standing or sleeping and movements such as walking, running or dancing, speak to the ideal subject.

We have chosen a new theme for this year’s juried show!  The Rice Gallery of Fine Art is now accepting submissions for Portraits & Figures: The 4th Annual National Juried Show!

This year’s juried event will celebrate the human form by exhibiting, promoting, and selling an exclusive survey of ORIGINAL PORTRAITS AND FIGURE PAINTINGS. Our experienced jurors will select the finest original paintings of human figures from artists all over the country for an exclusive feature show at The Rice Gallery of Fine Art, opening Friday, February 1st, 2019.

4th Annual Figures & Faces Art Competition

Fusion Art invites submissions for the 4th Annual Figures & Faces art competition.

For this competition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, are invited to submit their best art and photography depicting the human form - both figures and faces. All artists, regardless of location or experience, are encouraged to submit their best work in any medium.

Best in Show and 2nd through 5th Place awards will be given. The Best in Show winners receive an invitation to Fusion Art's 3rd Annual Group Show in Palm Springs in February 2019.  The top five award winning artists in each category will have their winning artwork included in Fusion Art's gallery on Artsy.net.
