Artist Books

image is - an artist book piece part of the Echo series “As the Light Falls from the Sky” The transforming of these pieces creates a metamorphosis of nature and being - the nymph/fairy warrior style of these is part of an artist's book as objects collection and a search into nature women, witches and identity… by artist Nichola Rodgers

Artists' books are generally not what you expect them to be, they are something much more creative and art objects in their own right.

Universal Love

Universal Love is an exhibition that seeks to explore and celebrate the concept of love in all its dimensions, embracing diverse interpretations and perspectives. This exhibition aims to delve into the profound and transformative power of love while contemplating its presence at both individual and cosmic levels. By bringing together a captivating collection of artworks, we invite visitors to engage with the rich tapestry of universal love and reflect on its multifaceted nature.

HYSTERICAL

OPEN CALL

This year, for International Women’s day the Davies Gilder Gallery presents…

HYSTERICAL

For this years International Women’s day, we encourage all artists identifying as “women” to sublimate their personal experiences through various artistic mediums celebrating women as creators, rather than subjects.

Historically throughout literature and language, Women have often been perceived rather than understood. And, when expressing their feelings and challenging social and societal situations they risk being labelled as “hysterical”, falsely influencing the ways in which audiences respond to their work.
