My work explores the human emotions and behaviors through a childlike masquerade. With influences as Jean- Michel Basquiat, Cy Twombly, the human anatomy and my fade memories of once being a child, I try to portray my ideas through minimalistic strokes of watercolor and playfully juxtaposed words and phrases. My aim is to make the spectators feel connected to their true self; I abstract anything overweight and unnecessary in order to keep the essence of things, the essence of being human.
