boundaries

Boundaries Exhibition

Curatorial theme:

What are the boundaries between public and private space?
Boundaries could be physical, such as borders between countries;  Boundaries also could be invisible, the world can appear so different from one to another. We all have different boundaries based on our various living experiences and cultural backgrounds.

A boundary could be your skin or the clothes you wear, where keeping others out or hides your inner self.

Boundaries could be the disconnect between your thoughts and voice, the never ending sentence devoid of punctuation.
Rather than hold the boundaries of this space, we would like to hear the boundaries in your life.
What is your boundary?

The Feminist Lecture Program x Nunhead Cemetery Summer Program and Exhibition: Artist Call-Out

The Feminist Lecture Program with support from Friends of Nunhead Cemetery is seeking emerging Female, Nonbinary and Trans artists to take part in a Feminist Curatorial Program and Exhibition Opportunity this summer in South East London.

Five selected artists will have the opportunity to present a solo exhibition in the unique environment of Nunhead Cemetery Chapel, with the support of The Feminist Lecture Program, whilst also taking part in a wider program of curated events, studio visits and group crits across the four months of the program.

Paid Practice Development Series

This project aims to put you in control over building your creative future — identifying future practice goals, curatorial support and networking needs to develop a new body of work, alongside two other emerging artists. This four-month project will combine aspects of peer-learning and supported mentorship by London-based artists and curators. Through peer-led sessions, you will be invited to share aspects of your practice that you’d like to explore or develop with the collective, as well as facilitating outings to events that you hope will offer opportunities for further learning and network-building.
