Tryon Arts & Crafts School is a year-round nonprofit art center in the foothills of Western North Carolina. TACS' scenic campus hosts music and craft festivals, public art projects, youth art activities, fundraiser dinners, and spontaneous picnics by the firepit. The main facility is a retrofitted mid-century public school building, which includes multiple exhibition spaces, artisan retail shop, Heritage Collection, and state-of-the-art studios. Disciplines include fiber arts, glass, lapidary, ceramics, jewelry, wood, welding, blacksmithing, digital photography (2024-2025), and culinary arts (2024-2025).
