Arts Coordinator 
Employment status:​ Permanent, full-time 
Reports to​: Creative Director (CD) 
Compensation​: Starting Salary, $45k 

Overview: 
Working closely with the Creative Director, the Arts Coordinator is responsible for executing events, performances, exhibitions, art workshops and collaborations. The Arts 
Coordinator will work with the CD to implement the artistic vision of PwA while following project specification, budgets and timelines. 

Position Summary 
Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to) 
Exhibitions & Events: 
● With Creative Director, develop and execute outside exhibitions and performance opportunities 
● With CD, curate and design in house exhibitions 
● Frame artwork and install exhibitions 
● Design, print and/or order all necessary signage 
● Responsible for artwork documentation, inventory and distribution 
● Support CD on design and execution of all events 
● Record attendance in database 
● Gallery upkeep 

Inventory Management: 
● Frames & exhibition supply 
● Donated Art 
● Art supplies/class materials 
● Act as primary point of contact for student artwork pick up 

Art Workshop Coordination: 
● Develop and execute workshop specifics, including concepts, teachers, supplies 
● Write proposals to communicate and agree workshop specifics to the partner 
● Measure, evaluate and report workshop performance 
● Schedule, design, and execute Open Studio classes 

Access Art Coordination: 
● Coordinate with Creative Director to identify performances available to students 
● Student outreach and attendance reporting 
● Identify and schedule volunteers 

Communications: 
● Brochure design and production 
● Outreach to existing and potential partners to develop and deepen partnerships 

Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience: 
● Stage management and/or event experience 
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
● Experience in an artistic classroom and/or building curriculum 
● Attention to detail 
● Knowledge/familiarity with the Seattle Arts Community 
● Analytical skills, including experience with Salesforce, Form Assembly and Excel 
● Experience working with the communities we serve, including those in active recovery from domestic abuse, homelessness, addition, mental illness and other trauma 
● Proactive, results-oriented, problem solver, strong team player 
● Passionate about the PwA mission and driven to improve program performance and impact 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Generally, work is in an office setting but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of typical office environment. Some events take place in the evening.
