CALL FOR COVID19 ART

The World Health Organization x Create2030 are seeking art submissions for it's #SolidarityShows Art Initiative to highlight the important role that artists play during emergencies.

Select artwork will be featured on the official WHO site.  

An online auction of artwork to support artists and the WHO COVID19 Relief Fund is currently being organized.

 

FotoAward Open for Submissions

The Marilyn Stafford FotoReportage Award of £2,000, facilitated by FotoDocument and supported by Nikon, will be granted to a professional woman photographer towards the completion of a compelling and cohesive documentary photo essay, which addresses an important social, environmental, economic or cultural issue, whether local or global.

The work should, in part, showcase positive solutions to any issues it raises in order to contribute to constructive photojournalism, in line with the wishes of Marilyn Stafford and the aims of FotoDocument. The Award is reserved solely for documentary photographers working on projects which are intended to make the world a better place and which may be unreported/under-reported.

Theme1 SKY IN THE MIRROR

The idea is simple, please use the mirror to capture the view of the sky in your location.

Theme 2 ANYTHING RED

ANYTHING RED, please use the mirror to present anything red. It could be a rose, or an old red telephone box on the street.  

We are looking for a moment that you documented in your daily life, the mood you had when you took the picture.

Theme 3 INTIMACY

500 EUR Prize + In-Depth Feature in ARTCONNECT Magazine | Do you have a project that got disrupted by the coronavirus shutdown? This is an open call for artworks and projects too good to be left unseen. Cash prize and feature for the winner and a chance for a new audience and recognition for your art.

How does it work?

Select up to three images of works on paper that were going to be included in an exhibition or presentation that was cancelled or postponed, or simply derailed because of the shutdown around the world. Use your ARTCONNECT Profile to publish up to 3 images of your work as a Project’. Give your work a second life and immediately get it noticed on ARTCONNECT.

UN x Artivive Open Call

The United Nations is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. To mark this special occasion, the UN Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA) and Artivive are launching a call for artists to create posters about peacemaking and peacebuilding, which also utilize augmented reality technology.

The leading themes are “Futuring Peace”, “Bringing together those who have been fighting,” and “Creating a bridge across peoples in conflict zones”. Artists are invited to interpret and present their own vision of what peace means, based on the history of the UN’s actions.

Cover Contest Theme : Surrealism

Marvelous Art Magazine is belong to Marvelous Art Gallery. We are now accepting art submissions for our first issue. Marvelous Art Magazine is now acceptingcover contest art about theme “Surrealism” for our first issue from April 20, 2019 – May 13, 2020.  This Issue asks writers and artists to create works that examine their surreal works. This issue will be publish in our website and social media accounts.

Artists are welcome to submit works in any medium: painting, drawing, writing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, textile, installation, mixed media, digital, film (only jpg + link to video) etc. All visual art mediums are welcome.
