Organic Sequence Workshop

(incorporating physical, ensemble and action techniques)

Nicolette Kay,  Artistic Director New Shoes Theatre,  will run the workshop.

The workshop is inspired by the method of Stanislavski and Eastern European theatre. The outcome achieves a physical and psychological connection between actors, which can create a valuable system of communication, focussing on impulse. All aspects of the technique can be utilised in future text and physical work.

The technique provides the opportunity for actors to extend their dynamic range.

The workshop will run from 30th July – 3rd August, 10am-4pm near Lambeth Bridge in a popup space which is why we are only charging £100 for the week!

The aim of the Poster Prize for Illustration competition 2019 is to attract artwork for display that is colourful, inspiring and celebrates the vibrant, multi-layered city that is London.

The project can take any form and we are open to ideas which encourage us to think about the heritage of Park Royal in new ways and that can respond to local socio-political themes and the wider London and UK context.
