COSMIC GROOVE: An odyssey of art and sound in Detroit

Embrace Creatives invites submissions for its Cosmic Groove juried art exhibit in their EC Detroit gallery. For this exciting exhibition, artists are encouraged to share their innovative ideas - things that reach outside of the traditional model. The artwork may vary from realism to surrealism to abstraction but should be contemporary in nature. All media are accepted, including digital & 3-D designs.  All artists over the age of 18, regardless of US location or experience, are encouraged to submit their best inspired work.

Oversized Wall Art Needed for Commercial Lobby

Embrace Creatives, an online art marketplace where collectors and interior professionals match with quality, original art to love is looking for OVERSIZED art for a commercial lobby project. (the image above is NOT the lobby project)  We're working with a local interior design firm to place an oversized piece on a focus wall of their client's lobby, right behind the main desk. USA-based artists, only.

Contemporary. Conceptual. Abstract.

Fiber, painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, digital art printed on paper, wood, acrylic, etc... Anything goes.

The Body Eclectic '21

Since our Call-for-Entry process has moved entirely on-line, we have to change the timeline as well and begin the call process in December for our annual February exhibit. So welcome to our CALL for ENTRY for the Body Eclectic '21.

Key Dates:

January 3, 2021: Entry Deadline

~But the Early Bird Discount* on entry fee ends December 19th~

January 11, 2021:  Notification of acceptance/decline

January 28 - 30: Drop off accepted artwork (during gallery hours)

February 4 - 26: Exhibition Dates

February 5th, 1-9 pm: Reception Day

February 14th, 2-5 pm: Mid-Month Reception

February 27, 28th: Pick-up all unsold work

Metro Detroit Artists, Makers and Designers can be part of Noel Night on December 7th, 2019 with the Detroit Center for Design + Technology and Embrace Creatives! It’s a prime location for Noel Night, the VERY popular, holiday shopping experience as the DCDT Gallery is located along Woodward Avenue at Willis and features large windows overlooking the activities. The DCDT can see as many as 1,000 shopping visitors that night!
