Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to our online exhibit, BRILLIANCE.

THEME
Art plays with perceptions of light, which can challenge viewers with what they see and understand from each piece. Light can go beyond being just functional. It can also be deeply affecting. Uniquely used as both a tool and a subject to create certain effects and to elicit emotion.
Light levels can directly influence our mood and the feeling of atmosphere within artwork. As light works with shadow, it lends a sense of depth; with this, the work can feel complete. We celebrate light and all it can do in its role in art. Show us BRILLIANCE from your perspective.

 We are excited to invite all visual artists to submit their work to our upcoming virtual show ‘Winter Group exhibition by the Royal Blue Gallery’.

Chosen artists will have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work through our platform and participate in exhibit-related promotions. In case of purchase interest the buyer will contact directly with you and we’ll not keep any commission of your sale.

Open Wide! Juried 2-D Exhibition

Open Wide! is the inaugural juried exhibition for the brand new, Minneapolis-based online gallery, 119 North Weatherly. Eligibility is open to artists around the world age 18 and older. This is an online-only exhibition, so there is no need to ship the artwork unless it sells. Because of software constraints in the virtual gallery, we are only accepting submissions from 2-D artists at this time (painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, mixed media, etc.). No video or 3-D submissions, please. Artists may submit up to three images for a fee of $10 each ($30 max). All accepted submissions will be promoted in the online gallery, on the 119 North Weatherly website, and on all social media channels for the gallery.

AAP Magazine 29 Women

Since the medium's inception, women have been the subject of photographers but also experimented photography as a tool of documentation and a space of self-expression. This 29th edition of AAP Magazine encourages photographers to celebrate all the important things women do.

Send us a cohesive body of work or portfolio - capturing the essence, hard-work, beauty, resilience, kindness... of women! The subject is completely open, it can be fashion, nude, documentary, portrait, sports, fine art, commercial.. Any capture method or process, whether digital or analog, including monochromatic toning, is welcome.

Winners will receive $1,000 in cash awards, their winning image(s) or full portfolio published in AAP Magazine #29, extensive press coverage and global recognition.

Solidarity Circles web residency for new media artists 
 from the Post-Soviet countries

Chimera platform in partnership 
with 8XR metaverse graphic game engine 
is launching its inaugural web residencyunder the theme ‘Solidarity Circles’.

Artists, art duos or art collectives based in Post-Soviet countries are invited 
for an 8-week remote residency 
to create an interactive 3D environment 
accessible online from laptops, mobiles, 
and VR headsets.

Programming skills are not required.

The selected artist will receive 
a bursary of $300, curatorial feedback sessions, technical consultations 
with the 8XR team, and a solo show 
as a result of the program.

We expect applications from artists 
proposing an original born-digital project with collaborative and critical approaches towards our present times.
