OPEN CALL | Aranno LandArt

Send me your cloudy sky

A participatory art project open to everyone. Your photo will be part of a limited edition published book.

How to take part?

Lift your head and catch a cloudy sky.

Send one high definition image (landscape oriented) with: 1- your first name, 2- the name of the place, 3- the date the image was taken,

The objective is to create a book with a collection of images from around the world. Cloudy skies can be beautiful, a promise or a threat, hiding something, or triggering the imagination. On a symbolic level, a clouded mind can signify confusion or a fleeting interior state.
I'm looking forward to receiving your cloudy sky.

In the centre of Lausanne (Switzerland), the forthcoming transformation of the 50’000 m2 of La Rasude site is the occasion for an ambitious artistic project, LABOR, conceived as an ephemeral urban laboratory. Planned over 4 years, LABOR will bring together artists, architects, universities, the population and experts to reflect on the current and future challenges facing cities. In 2020, the BIVOUAC exhibition proposes a first artistic immersion in the hitherto closed spaces of La Rasude by presenting ephemeral works created specifically for the site. On this occasion, LABOR launches an international call for projects addressed to artists, architects and urban planners as well as to anyone professionally concerned by the development and the fabrication of urban space.

GZ-BASEL 2020 is selecting artists

6th edition  3 - 7 June 2020

Our 6th editions of GZ-BASEL will present an international conjunction of well selected contemporary art of the highest level with the theme "Embracing Art". We have selected this title for being globally recognizable and because it connects with the basic of art which is "emotion".

The show will be hosted by the well known Basel Art Center. Their beautiful exhibition hall on street level of 250 sqm divided in 11 white painted exhibition stands will be the most appropriate location for an excellent display of a large variety of media. We will select painting, photography, sculpture, installation-art, video and performance.
