OPEN CALL TO ACTORS: [INSERT FEELING HERE] immersive art experience

OPEN CALL TO ACTORS: Looking for actors to collaborate on a unique immersive art exhibition for two nights only on 26 & 27 February in the Old Biscuit Factory in Bermondsey.

The performance is part of a unique immersive art exhibition [INSERT FEELING HERE], an artist reflection on chasing our own emotions, the highs and the lows and making space for everything in between. The aim of the event is to make people feel and experience art becoming part of the creation process rather than observers. The audience will dive into the minds of 11 artists and get immersed into their practice.

We are looking for the following:

Mother Art Prize 2020

Procreate Project is back with the 3rd edition of the Mother Art Prize 2020, the only international open call for self-identifying women and non-binary visual artists with caring responsibilities. 

Its aim is to promote and support artists who are mothers/parents as well as drive the attention of the wider public to a broad-spectrum of themes that would otherwise be overlooked and devalued. 

The prize is aimed at artists working in one or more of the following media: painting, drawing, mixed-media, photography, digital art, sculpture, ceramics, installation, textile, sound and video and there are no theme restrictions.

Visual Art Open 2020

The VAO art competition is a not for profit event open to both amateur and professional artists based in the UK and internationally. The aim is to give artists the ultimate platform to develop their passion and career in the arts sector. Finalists will benefit from exhibiting, selling and showcasing their work to art critics and art buyers alike.

All artists both UK & International are invited to apply for the Visual Art Open Prize, with a prize value of £6,000. Finalists will also be exhibited at Chester Arts Fair 2020.

ProperGanda

Properganda is a monthly night running for 5 years with an average 60 people audience.

A form of cultural event that is aimed at entertaining the attitude of a community (or audience) towards the different artforms and entertainment.
We're looking for any acts from Burlesque, Singer/Songwriters, Bands, Poetry, Puppetry, DJs, Magicians, Clowns, Stand up Comedians, Short film makers, installations, Performance art, alternative art, LGBTQ... 

Your act should be around 5 to 12 mins. Send us your proposal, or bio and links to your work.

We operate a box office share to be distributed 100% amongst the acts- no cut for venue or promoters. Also you get 2 free drinks and a + 1 person in for free.

BFMAF 2020 Call for Entries

The 16th Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival would love to see your work.

Film entries of all lengths and formats are encouraged and will be considered across all areas of the festivals 2020 programme. All single screen works under 60 minutes in length are eligible for the Berwick New Cinema Competition which has a £1,000 prize.
