Art at a Time Like This is presenting an open call for artists from Miami and Florida for works to be displayed on mobile billboard trucks circulating throughout Miami during Art Basel Miami Beach.  Deadline: October 17, 2022

8x5 addresses the mass incarceration crisis and inequalities in the justice system and we hope artists will reflect these conditions.  Five artists will be selected through open call,  with an honorarium of $1000 per artist.  Artworks are encourage to include any of the following statistics:

Art Biologic

ART BIOLOGIC This call is for a thematic exhibition based on art inspired by nature and biology. The exhibition will be held at the Limner Gallery, May 18 - June 10, 2023 and is open to all artists working in any media. Eligible are all art forms relating to, or gaining inspiration from nature and biology. Including but not limited to: landscape, fruits, vegetables, flowers, fauna, biological science and human figuration in the context of nature and biology. NEOTERIC ABSTRACT XI This call is for a thematic exhibition dedicated to abstract art. 2023 Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition

Call for Artists 2023
For more than 50 years, the Museum of Science and Industry (MSI) has hosted the nation’s premier exhibition of African American art. This annual show presents more than 100 works of art from professional and emerging Black artists from across the United States.  

Applications to the 2023 Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition are now being accepted. Submit your work!

Medium  
Contemporary works created in any visual medium are accepted.  

Eligibility 
General Category: Black artists over 18 years of age.

REJECTED!

How many times have you entered a call for art only for it to be REJECTED! ? We have all been there as artists and just because one call didn't accept your creations doesn't mean another won't! Open to all mediums (except performance art). Open to all themes. Artwork must have been created within the last two years, open to original and limited editions. Submit artwork that has been REJECTED! from a different call for art. (of course we can not gaurantee your work being accepted due to wall space) Best in Show is juried by the public and wins a $100 cash prize!
