2021 Call for Artists Arts Council of York County | Center for the Arts | Dalton Gallery

The Arts Council of York County is now accepting proposals for 2021 gallery exhibitions in the Dalton Gallery at the Center for the Arts. The Arts Council is a non-profit organization committed to creating and supporting a thriving arts community in York County, South Carolina. The Dalton Gallery, a professional gallery appropriated for the exhibition of experienced artists and community projects. The Dalton Gallery is an 1,800-square-foot space, illuminated by adjustable track lighting. 

Each year the Arts Council presents six to eight exhibits. Artists wishing to be considered as a solo or group exhibition for one of the Arts Council's 2021 gallery exhibitions, must submit the following to Mike Gentry, Gallery Manager, by 5 PM on Friday, April 3, 2020.

BIG INK Visits Whiteaker Printmakers

This Spring BIG INK is hosting a large-scale woodblock printing event at Whiteaker Printmakers.  Artists interested in carving a woodblock of at least 24 by 36 inches are invited to apply to print with us.  No prior experience is required and emerging, mid-career, and established visual artists are encouraged to apply.  Upon acceptance, artists have two months to carve their design.  We then meet at Whiteaker in Eugene, OR and help each other print as a group.

Dacia Gallery invites emerging and established artists to submit artwork for an opportunity to have a Solo Exhibition at Dacia Gallery in NYC. We are actively searching for new talented artists in all media and styles to work with, exhibit and represent. If you are looking for gallery representation and to have a Solo Exhibition in New York City, submit your art that we may discover your compelling work and present it to the public, gallery directors, curators and collectors. The gallery will advertise and promote the selected artist for the exhibition and host a formal Opening Reception for the exhibition, including an Artist Talk during the reception. NYC Gallery For Rent for Summer Exhibition

We are currently doing an Artist Residency in Sibiu, Romania this summer. Thus we are offering the gallery space to interested artists to do an exhibition during the time that we are in Romania. The gallery may be rented by a by a single artist to do a solo exhibition or a group of artists to do a group exhibition. During the rental period you or someone that can help you must be present in NYC to manage the exhibition and keep the gallery open for the duration of the exhibition.
