ABOUT THE PLAY:

ON DURATION

ON DURATION is a programme conceived by artist and performance artist Reagan Truax, PhD. It is designed to take place in a range of locations. Its intention is to encourage creative research and work in context by facilitating spaces for durational artists. ON DURATION invites us to explore temporality as a primary material for artistic creation and to question our relationship to time and to those systems designed to measure it in the wake of oppressive systems.

Call For Submission: HARP

One of the most robust residency programs of this nature in the country and serving as a national model, HARP provides a commission, developmental support, career planning, and an opportunity for a full production to hybrid artists within a collaborative environment of peers working across disparate art forms – including theatre, dance, music, puppetry, visual art, and new media. HARP provides significant long-term support, as well as at least $50,000 in cash and $50,000 in space, equipment, and services over 2-3 years to tailor each residency to each artist’s individual needs.

ASSEMBLE Festival

CALL-OUT: ASSEMBLE FESTIVAL

We invite you to ASSEMBLE.

VERB

1. (of people) gather together in one place for a common purpose

We’re looking for artists to join us for our 2-week theatre and performance festival exploring the innate need for humans to gather, in rage and optimism, when facing the complexities and uncertainties of our world.

While consuming news of injustices at home and abroad, anger and despair burn brightly. And, yet... A glimmer of hope persists. A beacon that reminds us of our collective capacity for change, resilience, and compassion. We’re interested in exploring that duality that lives within us all.

Teatri Riflessi 9 - International Short Performance Festival
