Trainings for the Not-Yet | Visual Arts

Program Overview

Trainings for the Not-Yet is a program of research, community learnings, theoretical frameworks, performative workshops, artworks, learning objects, and conversations. In this residency designed for artists, community organizers, researchers, and curators, we will develop a toolkit for a future of being together, otherwise.

Enterprise Works - Social Enterprise Training for Artists

Enterprise Works is a unique and practical business programme with a focus on Social Enterprise aimed at socially engaged artists and creatives who are looking to make social impact within their practice.

Led by Creativity Works and the University of Bath, it explores an array of ideas and tools that will enable you to be sustainable and effective as an artist, and to thrive as a social entrepreneur.

We believe that having a thorough grasp of business, finance, entrepreneurship, marketing and strategy can futureproof your career and be the springboard for increasing your income, making more social impact, and establishing a network of employment opportunities.

SOMW019 OPEN CALL

"We are beyond marks, boundaries and social classes. We permeate all the layers and aspects of the world society" Emmeline Pankhurst

Leaving our homeland can change many aspects of our lives, letting us discover tastes, smells, new friends or even ourselves; leaving our homeland can let us find a good job, love, or freedom, but in the same way, it can reveal void, suffering, distance, and absence. You are invited to contribute to this exploration of the women in movement’s world regardless of your social status, background, age or nationality.

Trestle's Critical Feedback Program

Trestle programs are designed to offer an alternative to the expense of higher education. The Trestle philosophy comes from a belief that artists can grow and learn from each other without the excessive student loans that can come with graduate work at larger institutions. With a studio in NYC, one of the biggest contemporary art meccas in the world, Trestle program participants have the ability to explore all that the city has to offer with a community of like minded individuals.

Trestle’s Critical Feedback Program participants work with art professionals who work in the “real” art world today, actively seeking and earning opportunities, with current information and relevant advice.
