THE WESTMORLAND LANDSCAPE PRIZE Call for Entries Deadline: 17 June 2019

The Westmorland Landscape Prize is a national call to artists who are inspired by our landscape. Conceived and developed by Westmorland, the Prize aims to document, celebrate and interrogate our relationship with the landscape. The selection panel will be looking for works which reach beyond the aesthetic, stimulating thinking and debate about the way in which we exist alongside, as part of, or sometimes in spite of our landscape.

Call for Entries/Royal Photographic Society's International Photography Exhibition 162 (IPE 162)

The Royal Photographic Society announces the Call for Entries to the 162nd International Photography Exhibition (IPE 162).  The open call to the world’s longest running photography exhibition invites photographers and image-makers worldwide to submit series work and single images, from contemporary approaches to traditional processes. The exhibition celebrates the best in photography from around the world and cash prizes are on offer. Selected work culminates in a nationwide touring exhibition and media coverage.

Sunday Times Watercolour Competition 2019 - Call for Entries

Now in its 32nd year, The Sunday Times Watercolour Competition is the largest and most prestigious prize for contemporary watercolour painting in the UK. Hugely popular with artists, gallery visitors and readers of The Sunday Times, the competition aims to celebrate and redefine the beauty and diversity of watercolour and water-based media.

This year sees the introduction of a new First Prize of £8,000, generously sponsored by independent financial advisers, London Wall Partners LLP. In addition to the £8,000 London Wall Partners Prize, a Second Prize of £3,000, a Third Prize of £1,000, and the Pegasus Young Artist Prize – awarded to an artist aged under 30 years – are also available.

Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2019

The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2019 selection panel will comprise Chantal Joffe RA, artist; Andrew Nairne OBE, Director of Kettle’s Yard, University of Cambridge; and Dorothy Price, Reader in History of Art at the University of Bristol, and Editor of Art History. Together they will select around 65 drawings for an exhibition that will launch at Trinity Buoy Wharf before touring to venues nationwide from September 2019 to July 2020.

The London Group Open 2019: Call for Entries Deadline: 30 August 2019, 5pm

The UK’s longest-running and most prestigious artists’ co-operative, The London Group, is delighted to announce the call for entries for its 84th open exhibition. The London Group Open 2019 offers a wonderful opportunity for emerging and established artists to raise their profile, win cash prizes, and exhibit their work alongside the Group’s esteemed members. No commission will be charged on any works sold during the 2019 exhibition in line with the Group’s commitment to give artists ‘a boost in a tough career, thereby nurturing and supporting the development of the art of the future’. AIR Open 2019

​We are seeking entries for our annual summer exhibition the AIR Open 2019. Featuring artists from around the globe, this exhibition is open to any artist working in any theme.

​The cost is £5 per work. Artists can enter a maximum of 3 works for consideration. Entry fees are non-refundable and does not guarantee selection for the final show.

​Up to four cash prizes will be awarded. Max Value £1000
