9th Annual "Figurative” 2019 Exhibition Results Announced by Gallery

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its April 2019 art exhibition, the 9th Annual “Figurative” Online Art Exhibition is now posted on its website and can be viewed online.  The theme for this art exhibition is figurative art. Artists were asked to submit their best figurative 2D and 3D art for this competition.

An international online art competition was held in March 2019, which determined the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 35 different countries and also received entries from 33 different states. Overall, 845 entries were judged for this art competition.

The Mendocino Art Center (MAC) hosts the seventh annual Mendocino Open Paint Out (MOPO), a plein air festival. The Mendocino Coast, located along a beautiful expanse of the Pacific Ocean in northern California, is a spectacular setting for a plein air festival. Artists claim that the quality of light is unlike anywhere else in the world.

From the rugged surrounding landscape, to the bay and beaches, to the quaint Victorian architecture and water towers in the town of Mendocino, to the nearby vineyards and wineries, artists are sure to find abundant creative inspiration. Applications for the 8th edition of ORA Award are now open

ORA Award is one of the longest running art awards in Italy.

10 galleries in the jury will select one artist each for a solo collaboration (solo show or other project) to be realised in the 2019-20 exhibition season. Additionally, Massimo De Luca Gallery, Venice, will host a group exhibition comprising 5 artists selected by curator Eva Comuzzi, president of the jury for this edition.

Each gallery in the jury will evaluate each profile impartially and autonomously in order to select artists with whom they have not previously worked, and in whom they are interested for a potentially ongoing collaboration.

Exhibit Dates: August 2, 2019 – August 29, 2019

Artists’ Reception: Thursday August 8, 2019, 7:00pm - 9:00pm

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists age 18 and over in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.  
All two-dimensional artwork is welcome including painting, drawing, photography, collage and printmaking. Artwork must not exceed 10” x 10” (including frame if applicable). Artwork weight limited to 15 lbs. Artwork must have been completed within the past three years. Artwork MUST be ready to hang. All artwork must remain on display for the duration of the exhibit with no exceptions.

FEE: There is no entry fee. ​
