OPEN CALL | International Platform for Choreographers

Companhia de Dança de Almada is organizing the 30th edition of Quinzena de Dança de Almada – International Dance Festival, a large forum for performance, dance, and interaction, to be held in Almada (Lisbon, Portugal) from September 22 to October 9, 2022.

Professional choreographers, dance companies and video directors are welcome to submit their projects to be presented in the in the International Platform for Choreographers.

With a spirit always open to new challenges, the festival develops a policy of inclusion, open to different types of performance, supporting new creators, alongside initiatives in view of spreading the appreciation and practice of Dance among different audiences, in a perspective of active interaction with the community.

ART AXIS 2022

The art project is aimed at painters, graphic artists, illustrators, etc., who use various techniques and approaches to performing creative work.

Every year the theme of the competition changes. This year’s theme is “My Reality”.

The mission of the Project is to support and help children deprived of parental care develop their creative skills in art.

The main goal of the Project is to support and promote the work of artists (artists of different genres and directions of fine arts) from everywhere, who are inspired by fantasies, fairy tales, fables, myths, life impressions, etc. and want to share their thoughts with the world.

Call For Performance - A Black Perspective On A Modern World

International Art Competition Landscapes

Contemporary Art Room Gallery is proud to announce their 3rd "Landscapes" Online Art Competition for the month of March. This is an international competition and artists and photographers from around the world are welcome to submit their best representational and non-representational art related to the Landscapes theme: natural elements such as mountains, hills, valleys, deserts, forests, farmland, trees, rivers, lakes, polar regions, rainforests, islands and tropical landscapes. All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installation art) except sound and video art. All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate.

Divergents Call for Submissions for Spring issue 2022!

We are always looking for essays, opinions, creative nonfiction, fiction, and poetry for inclusion in Divergents. Our content is made for, by, and about the experience of living atypically in a neurotypical world. We are especially interested in stories that celebrate neurodiversity and feature the unique ways divergent populations interact with and contribute to their communities. We love stories that raise awareness of ancillary issues neurotypicals might not have ever thought of. For example, a story about your Autism diagnosis and what that means isn't quite what we're looking for. A story about having a scary run in with the police because they aren't trained to identify or deal with people on the spectrum is.
