honorarium opportunities for Zines

EXILE books is offering LOTS of oportunities to and be paid and published between now and the end of 2021

Upload your zines to the EXILE Zine Pool and be elgible for ranging from $100 to $500!  The Pool serves as an open ended submissions database for juried selections for special projects, as well as a virtual zine library. 

Heres how it works:

*It doesn't cost any money to submit your work and you can submit as many different works as you like. 

*Every zine will be on public view in the zine pool. Jurors for special projects will make their pics exclusively from the pool. 

What type of work should I send in? 

Juries will be looking for material that focuses on these areas:

#Female

“Female” is a thematic art open call focused on the characteristics of woman. open call is aiming to have a visual vision of the powerful stories of women.

Supported by BestPicture & ArtWeek. selected works will be promoted through @ArtJobs instagram and newsletter to all the connected gallery and publication.

A Vanished Sea (Without a Trace)

Climate Art and Bridgepoint Rye, in collaboration with Sussex Wildlife Trust, are delighted to announce a call for applications from artists, creative practitioners, and environmental researchers to work on a site-responsive project during a three-month residency at Bridgepoint Creative Centre in Rye, East Sussex.Participants are invited to respond to the residency’s theme of transience, outlined below. Each applicant should clearly indicate how, during the three months of the programme, they will engage with the local community and connect with the ecological landscape of Rye.

Celebrating Change: Women and the right to vote

Dallas Public Library seeks visual art makers to apply for the Celebrating Change: Women and the Right to Vote virtual exhibition. This open call opportunity encourages artists to share their point of view as it relates to women and the right to vote through the medium of different visual aesthetics, techniques, and narrative concepts. Modest honorarium will be provided.

This show will feature images that engage the notion of celebrating women and the right to vote, on topics of conceptual, political, or social importance using the medium of choice to unveil hidden histories and reveal truths of women and the right to vote. The show will run from November 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020 on the Dallas Public Library website.
