Lab.10 art contest

Lab.10 art contest, is a call for submissions open to all kind of artists. Works allowed in the art competition are: drawings, paintings, sculptures, photographs, graphics, mix media and video. A great opportunity for the artists, which can win a cash prize, have the opportunity to exhibit the artworks in September 2018 and much more.

PRIZES:

- a collaboration award for a new Malamegi collection

- artwork acquisition award

- a cash prize of 1,000 Euros

- a monographic book prize

The following types of works are admitted: Painting, Sculpture, Photography, Mixed media, Digital, Video, Graphics, Net art, other (all visual works that can be reproduced through a picture are allowed).

Call for artists - In My Town - Wake up screaming #10

The next edition of Wake up screaming will continue the outward orientation set by #9, but this month we will venture into the Towns. The U.K. is unique in that it is a densely populated area with clustered towns and cities packed into a relatively small space, but this doesn't stop each town being really unique, with its own livelihood and special characters and creative populations.

Submissions for Open City Documentary Festival 2018 are now open. We're looking for the most exciting and innovative non-fiction storytelling in short, mid-length and feature length documentaries as well as cross-platform projects. We welcome artists' film in a non-fiction mode.

Open City Documentary Festival creates an open space to nurture and champion the art of creative documentary and non-fiction filmmakers, and over 4,000 people attended last year's festival to enjoy some of the very best in contemporary and international documentary. Exhibition Opportunity: MAKE 2018

CALL OUT:  'MAKE' is an annual Christmas selling exhibition celebrating the diversity of contemporary craft.

The exhibition focuses on selling handmade, high quality craftwork and connecting makers with our Christmas customers. By highlighting one-off, unique pieces alongside small scale batch production we aim to offer a range of mediums and prices to suit all. 

Make 2018 – runs from 17 November 2018 – 6 January 2019. The exhibition is open to any UK-based craftsperson or designer-maker whose work fits these criteria.  We are particularly looking for makers who produce exciting and contemporary work.
