The C-IDEA Design Award is the Worlds'  annual juried design competition that aims to recognize and promote visionary talents in a wide array of categories ranging from communication design, industrial design, architecture, interior design, fashion design, and new media.

The C-IDEA Design Award aims to recognize outstanding design with social value, excavate more farsighted, and responsible excellent design forces to help the development of the design industry! The C-IDEA Design Award hopes to create more opportunities for excellent designers to communicate and cooperate with exhibitions, awards ceremonies,  and international events.

The 3rd Latin American Contemporary Fine Art Competition

New York Art Competitions are pleased to announce the opening of the Latin American Contemporary Fine Art Competition. Fine artists from Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain, Portugal, the Latin American diaspora, and artists residing in any of the above, are invited to submit their works for a chance to be selected for promotional awards designed to boost their careers.

This year’s awards include a participation in a collective exhibition in New York, an Art Fair, cash prizes and online promotion. Painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital, printing, and mixed media are eligible. All submitted artwork must be available for sale.

Submissions are accepted from July 26th to April 13th, 2021.

The Babel Masks

WHAT IS THE LIBRARIAN OF BABEL?
The Librarian of Babel is a virtual space created for the purpose of bringing artists and thinkers together at different events.

WHAT IS THE CALL?
We call all artists to create and submit a mask to The Babel Masks, a juried exhibition of original masks.

WHAT IS THE SHOW ABOUT? 
Masks have become a way of life in 2020 as we grapple with the covid-19 pandemic. What if masks remain with us from now on?

This exhibition imagines how masks will evolve in 100 years as daily wear. In the hands of artists, the design still protects the mouth and nose while being more expressive, even more sculptural, more stylish and more ceremonial than the basic design we know today.

Many new artists that are beginning to exhibit their works may be asked to give an artist talk at an opening they’re not quite prepared for. Well-seasoned makers that have made recent changes in the direction of their practice may like to solidify their new ideas into words. An up-and-coming curator may be looking to discuss their practice and what got them interested in such a behind-the-scenes position in the art world. And many professors who are practicing artists may have wanted to discuss their unique challenges in being able to balance two demanding careers.
