arebyte’s yearly programme encourages young digital artists from regional UK cities to develop their practice and interact with new audiences in London and internationally with the aim to expand their network and foster new opportunities. This initiative nurtures a sense of place in the London art scene which can be notoriously difficult to infiltrate and creates new conversations between London and other UK cities.⁠
⁠
The criteria for submissions is as follows:⁠
- be aged 28 or under⁠
- make work using emerging and digital media⁠

Frame Rush 2022

Frame Rush, the annual screendance event, takes place in May 2022 at The Place for a live evening of screenings.
 
 Focusing on movement and sound, this event explores the definition of the continuously emerging genre of screendance as an immersive sensory experience. Our aim is to bring together new audiences to watch and discuss works from around the world. Particularly in the times of the COVID-19 pandemic, screendance is becoming more and more relevant.

ART THERAPY INSTITUTE - CALL FOR ARTISTS: “I HEART CONNECTIONS”

The Art Therapy Institute is calling all creatives to participate in a virtual community art show scheduled for 2/11/22 to 3/10/22. The virtual gallery opening will take place 2/11/22 @ 6PM ET (US & Canada). During the opening, artists will be invited to share their art and connect with fellow artists and participants. We hope this community art show will remind us of the power of connection while it honors our collective hope and resilience. All mediums (visual, written, audio, etc.) welcome. The Mobile Library provides a multi-digital exhibiting experience for artists and writers to showcase their work during the pandemic closures.
