2021 North Louisiana Virtual Residency

The Ross Lynn Charitable Foundation (RLCF) and the North Central Louisiana Arts Council (NCLAC) are excited to announce the 2021 North Louisiana Virtual Residency. From February 8th to April 2nd, this 8 week online residency will provide the virtual space and rhythm for artists to come together as a community and collaborate in pairs on new work.

During the 2020 North Louisiana Virtual Residency this past summer, we witnessed how the creative process allowed artists to constructively work through the challenges of the early stages of Covid-19 and give voice to their own experience. The residency offered a safe space to respond to the uncharted terrain of the time and foster a communal environment that helped guide their visions in their individual studio practices.

Rock Band with Deerhoof

CAMP is a residential arts facility in the French Pyrenees. It's a place where great art is made, new movements are formed, new ideas are explored and groundbreaking people are nurtured. CAMP is located in Aulus les Bains, the last village before the France/Spain Pyrenean frontier chain. The location is spectacular - we are nestled at 750m above sea level, surrounded by snowcapped peaks over 3000m high, ancient forests and cascading waterfalls. There are eagles, lammergeiers, vultures, ibex and bears. Walk out of the residency, and within ten minutes you are completely alone in one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in Europe.

Artists Open Call!

It is our honor to invite you to Mauser EcoHouse...an inspirational space in Magical Costa Rica.

Our core philosophy at the residency is focused on Art, Permaculture and Health. As part of that ethos “Art in Harmony with Nature”, we are continually developing our permaculture and sustainability practices within the residency and in our garden and greenhouse.

It's imperative now with the current world circumstances that we take a time out to create the art that wants to move through us. As we navigate these global times of transition, it's crucial that we all open up to our creative potential. It is art that will become the architecture and beauty of the new world that is unfolding...

OPEN CALL: Workplace scholarship for designers

feldfünf promotes the dialogue between art, design and everyday life. In cooperation with neighborhoods in the southern part of Friedrichstadt and international cultural practitioners, feldfünf is a platform for process-based, intercultural projects and long-term, collaborative ideas. In our project rooms, we offer a workplace for 3 months to a designer to realize a project, that has already begun or to develop a new creative approach. In addition to the workplace, our spacious project rooms are also available for experiments and presentations. The scholarship is aimed at all those who are active as designers, architects or artists, and whose work process is enriched by the exchange with other people.
