sleek provides a platform for the most significant visual disciplines of our time – contemporary art, photography and fashion. sleek is monothematic and bi-lingual (German and English). Each issue’s theme is composed of two concepts which form an antithesis or create a tension between one another.

Founded in Hamburg, Germany, in 2002, sleek moved to Berlin in 2005 and currently has offices in New York (fashion), Berlin (art) and Hamburg (distribution). Since being the highest placed independent newcomer at the Lead Awards, sleek has regularly been honoured at the Lead Awards, the ADC Awards, Freelens Award and with other prizes.

Whilst long flowing evening gowns, complete with draping, along soft gentle lines propose a rather romantic, sophisticated trend, severe geometrics and sculpted pleated structures set off a more aggressive, urban, Amazon femininity. Plunging side slits, detailing borrowed from the lingerie sector, bodices shaped by plays of tulle and splendid backs are the key points of cocktail and formal dresses for spring/summer 2010.Black and total white are, without doubt, the reference colours further enhanced by precious embellishments of silvery sequins, golden embroidery and metallic petals, authentic jewelled accessories. Fitness is a United States-based monthly women's magazine, focusing on health, exercise, and nutrition. It is owned and published by the Meredith Corporation. The editor-in-chief of Fitness is Betty Wong.

Fitness was launched in 1992, and was acquired by the Meredith Corporation from Bertelsmann's Gruner + Jahr in 2005. In 2005, Fitness also launched its web presence, giving readers separate online resources for fitness and health tips alongside the magazine's monthly editorial content. Betty Wong became Editor-in-Chief in September 2008, incorporating several changes to the magazine, creating several new columns and features. In 2009, Fitness posted significant ad page gains according to the Publishers Information Bureau, increasing by 18.4% when overall magazine publishers' counts were down 27.9% industry-wide. It was recognized for several awards, having been awarded "Most Improved Publication" and best "How-To/Instructional" feature in minOnline's Editorial and Design Awards.

Fitness editorial content centers largely on exercise, nutrition, health, and beauty. Fitness also conducts several real-world fitness and health-themed events to promote its brand and raise money for charity, including the Mind, Body, Spirit Games and a half-marathon in conjunction with fellow Meredith publication More Magazine.
