ELLE is the biggest fashion magazine in the world, in which fashion does not just stand for clothes, but also for beauty, going out and people. Which people, places and music are "in"? The editors are focused on this 24/7 and are models for the target group: highly educated women (and okay, 1 man) who live and work in the city, travel a lot, go out and are crazy about fashion. In brief, ELLE reflects the spirit of the times plus the experiences of its readers - or those they would like to look like - and is always in the know. ELLE is INSPIRATION, ASPIRATION, NEVER ORDINARY, EVERYDAY OR COMMON.

ELLE is intelligent and takes fashion seriously. After all, fashion is more than just some labels: an art form, vision of the future or social criticism. What's more, ELLE is practical and provides clear, wearable translations of trends & catwalks. But never slavish copying. ELLE mixes High End with High Street. Because not everyone wants to or can drape themselves in designer clothes from top to toe. Fashion must not dictate. Ultimately, a personal style, character and personality represent the highest achievable wealth. Of course with a dose of humour. ELLE excels in putting things in perspective and entertaining: witty columns and articles about fashion and beauty.'

Women's Health reaches a new generation of women who don't like the way most women's magazines make them feel.

Women's Health is for the woman who wants to reach a healthy, attractive weight but doesn't equate that with having thighs the size of toothpicks. They know that exercising and eating well will make you happier and stronger (even if after-work runs can really suck). That looking and feeling good have very little to do with cosmetics and high heels (though they can help you feel glamorous on a Saturday night). And that life can be stressful since there's never enough time, but balance is achievable (with a little help).

Most of all, WH focuses on what you can do, right now, to improve your life.

Russian Vogue is published in Russia by Conde Nast. Originally published ten times a year, in 2002 it became a monthly. The editor-in-chief is Aliona Doletskaya and the art director is Brendan Parker. It is printed in the UK or Germany for export. Russian Vogue uses big-name photographers as well as Russians regularly in their visual editorial work. While the paper is of a better quality than American Vogue, the printing looks very similar, but at a higher resolution. Their covers are highly original and unlike any other on the market, with rather hard photography and close up shots that might not be considered cover material elsewhere. As a result, they stand out and are very lively and interesting. Well, judge for yourself! Most of the inside photo editorials are also very individual and stand on their own. However, every month they often feature at least one reprinted series that was used previously in other international Vogue's, especially the American edition. Advertising is minimal to good, with big advertisers like Gucci and Cerruti as well as many Russian cigarette ads. Vogue Russia began publishing with the September 1998 issue.
