This theme, planned half a year ago, has become sadly and dramatically topical. Instead of a course description, here are excerpts from the "Letter N°6" of the artistic director Jurij Alschitz to the participants: "Friends, our course takes place in challenging times. And the topic of our next meeting is “Conflict". Thank goodness Stanislavsky didn't see the horrors of World War II and doesn't see the beginning of World War III. He can't help us in any way. We are left alone to decide for ourselves what conflict is and how to prevent it and how to live with it and how to destroy it. This is the topic of our meeting;

If we rise above the level of the flight of birds, we can see from space a huge vortex that pulls us all into a black hole. War, aggression, lies, betrayal, destruction of nature, and hundreds, hundreds of thousands of other sins we have been through, are already in the past. We are being sucked into a giant vortex of negative energy and we are already on the threshold of a black hole. This is not just a war that Russia started and not even the apocalypse. It's a transition to another reality. We are now at the outer edge of the black hole right at the horizon of the events. The gravitational force of our reality, our civilization, our spirituality, our values, our culture, "our theatre" is no longer able to counteract the urge for light to leave us. In other words, the proposed circumstances are the end of the world. The light is leaving.

Well, quantum physics requires that information doesn’t disappear, doesn’t get lost. We started My Stanislavsky course in one reality and now we are in another. Every bit of information that says we exist must remain. So our course is our fight against darkness, we are professionals and we will do it for as long as we can, although we may run out of matches. Yes, the time of existence of the reality, that we hold dear, depends on how many matches we have. This is not just a conflict of light and darkness. No, this is a Conflict of Realities. There is our reality and the reality of a mad dictator, a murderer, a blackmailer. That's it. (...)
