Conca Film Festival - Call For Short Film

Conca Film Festival Conca Film Festival is a cultural event that aims to promote emerging artists through a dialogue with the territory of the Roccamonfina Regional Park.

The theme that the artistic direction has chosen for the first edition of the Conca Film Festival is:

BEYOND THE SHAPE – TRANSFORMATION POETICS

Describing and telling metamorphosis means to look at the continuous flow of different shapes in which living beings change each time.
Seeds become plants and then flowers, stones crumble and become wandering grains, going through the innumerable forms that everyone passes from the moment of its birth until the end of its life.

lives. In honor of the arrival of spring, please send 3-5 images of artwork involving trees.

Online Exhibition Dates: APRIL 15 – JUNE 1, 2023

BWAC is pledging 15% of proceeds from sales in the online TREES show to The Brooklyn Botanic Garden to support their
efforts in keeping New York green.

Nature's Endurance | Call For Artists

We are now open for submissions for our upcoming exhibition: Nature’s Endurance.

Held as part of Artworks's The Joys of Nature 2023 events season, this exhibition is designed to create space for taking notice of the natural world around us, and considering our impact upon it.

Organised by two students from the University of York, Ellie Yang and Rachael Chadwick, we welcome submissions from all of artworks that take notice of the natural world and consider the impact of humans upon it.

Submissions of artwork should respond to the state of nature around us and the ways in which it endures. We are looking for works which explore (but are not limited to) the themes of:

8th International Marianne Brandt Award

Connectedness —
Experiments on a new relationship with nature

The 8th International Marianne Brandt Award 2022 asks artists and designers how that which connects us with other living beings and habitats can be newly discovered and designed. We are looking for projects, images, and texts on cooperative, aesthetic, metaphorical, and poetic exchanging relationships with other organisms and natural existences.

How could we conceive and design connecting processes, objects, and atmospheres in this sense? How can we talk, write and tell about our existential connections in poetic and creative ways?
