The Technarte International Conference on Art and Technology will be held in Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain on May 19, 2023. 

We are currently looking for artists and technologists from around the world that would like to join this exciting event as a speaker and share their vision of the fusion between art, science and technology.

Selected speakers will present their work in a professional yet friendly atmosphere. They also will:

  • Get a free pass for the Technarte event, including conference, coffee breaks, meals and official dinner.
  • Participate in a relaxing warming up evening together with the other speakers on the previous day of the start of the conference.
  • Have paid travel expenses up to 300€.
  • Be part of the Technarte community around the world.

Topics of interest for the conference include, but are not limited to:

  • Data art
  • Robotic art
  • New media art
  • Fashion & technology
  • Generative art
  • Bioart
  • Human Computer Interaction (HCI)
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) art
  • Immersive & virtual environments
  • Interactive architecture

Please note that all abstracts, papers and presentations should be written in English.

Authors are invited to submit papers through our Evaluation Management System by December 15, 2022.

Ukrainian Pavilion DSL VR Space | Call for Artists, Art Institutions, Music Bands and Theaters

Ukrainian Pavilion DSL VR Space is a project created by dslcollection in partnership with a platform for creative digital asset V-Art. The pavilion aims to showcase the best that the Ukrainian arts have to offer - from contemporary digital and digitalized art, to audio-visual performance recordings and other digitalized cultural content. The Ukrainian virtual pavilion launch will take place phygital during the Art Basel week in Paris.

The project will be presented in the metaverse space. This space will also be interconnected with the existing spaces opened by the Shenzhen Pingshan Art Museum and the NYU Tisch School of the Arts.

All Ukrainian creatives and cultural institutions are encouraged to apply:

- Artists

- Museums

- Galleries

- Music bands, orchestras

- Theaters

- Other cultural institutions and art groups.

What could be applied:

- Digital & digitalized art

- Audio-Visual Performances recordings

- Any other type of digital & digitalized cultural content.

Eligibility:

- Based or born in Ukraine

- Submitting only digital content

- Maximum 10 artworks per applicant

- Absence of hate or other features to be recognised negative in applied artworks;

- Adulthood in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine (full 18 years)

- Permission directly from the artists to display and publish their work

The responsibility lies with the participants of the project, directly to the work of which there are claims from third parties

Seeking Digital Artists and Musicians

Syntropy States is a small digital arts start-up with a big vision. We’re creating a platform that brings together the digital arts with breathwork, relaxation and meditation. We’re passionate about the role that art and music can play in people’s health and happiness and we want to help digital artists and musicians play a meaningful role in helping to heal our broken, stressed society. And that’s where you come in.

 

We’re looking for artists and musicians who want to share their work in meaningful ways to help social wellbeing by creating accessible art and music that provides a way to relax, reconnect and revitalise in an accessible way. Specifically, we are seeking to commission 4-5 minute audio visual videos to be hosted on our app “Syntropy”. Syntropy is a new and exciting way for the digital arts to not only entertain, but to also serve as an effective and widely available digital health tool.

 

Each visual and audio selection will receive £200, along with promotion, exposure to a large and growing audience and a digital arts residency within the Syntropy app and website. You can submit an unlimited amount of samples to the three categories, Breathe, Relax and Elevate.
