Data Dreams - Call for Digital Artists

Eligibility:

"Data Dreams" is not merely an exhibition; it's a journey into the ethereal, where the digital and the subconscious intertwine in a mesmerising dance of creativity.
"Data Dreams" draws inspiration from the intricate connections between the human mind and the emerging realm of technology as explored by Arthur Koestler in 'The Ghost in the Machine'. Koestler's work delves into the interplay of our consciousness ("the ghost") and the physiological and technological aspects ("the machine"). In aligning with Koestler's ideas, "Data Dreams" bridges the gap between the human psyche and the digital landscape. This reference invites participating artists to explore the profound influence of the human mind on the digital canvas, creating a space where dreams, thoughts, and emotions find expression in the realm of data and technology. It transforms technology into a medium for the ethereal, embodying Koestler's contemplation on the delicate relationship between consciousness and the machine age.
"Data Dreams" is an invitation to unleash the boundless imagination within the realm of data. It is a celebration of artists who dare to envision and interpret the intricate dance between the binary and the surreal, crafting a dreamscape that transcends the confines of the tangible world.
Each submitted artwork becomes a chapter in a collective narrative, weaving a story of dreams expressed in algorithmic strokes, interactive experiences, and the harmonious marriage of technology and artistic expression.
Submission Guidelines:
- We are open to artists working in various digital mediums, including but not limited to digital painting, 3D modelling, animation, virtual reality (VR), and interactive installations.
