Springtime ceramics and screenprinting residency

You are invited to join our Spanish wine estate oasis this spring! With 300 sunny days a year the sparkling Mediterranean light crashes abundantly into our beautiful studios during the spring months. Our artist-family run residency is a personal and intimate place where you can live comfortably among international like-minded people in a beautiful estate not far from Barcelona city (60 km to the center).
The owners Arnout Krediet & Iris Tonies also create and work from the residency and organize events and activities for the residents all year round. You can also be guided profesionally to make the next step in your art practice.
Residency program highlights:
    • big studio space (you share approximately 40 m2 with one other artist)

OPEN CALL TO ACTORS: [INSERT FEELING HERE] immersive art experience

OPEN CALL TO ACTORS: Looking for actors to collaborate on a unique immersive art exhibition for two nights only on 26 & 27 February in the Old Biscuit Factory in Bermondsey.

The performance is part of a unique immersive art exhibition [INSERT FEELING HERE], an artist reflection on chasing our own emotions, the highs and the lows and making space for everything in between. The aim of the event is to make people feel and experience art becoming part of the creation process rather than observers. The audience will dive into the minds of 11 artists and get immersed into their practice.

We are looking for the following:

Inventory

A never ending story of what we have lost with the pasage of time (life)

Identity and exploration of the artists

Document and curate the artist’s lifeline  and creation all the while asking the question: What have you lost?

Since I was little I have wondered where do things go and where are we going?

As individuals and as society we organize and try to keep and collect as much as we can, but there are many times that we lose track. “We lose things, thoughts, people”

We know all those things we just need to dig to ourselves (in this case the artist self ) and expose.

And inventory can trace a lifeline too, The past, the present and the future. An artist can explore their past or just try to explain their future.
