The Royal Society of British Artists Call For Entries

Artists are invited to submit work for exhibition alongside members of the Royal Society of British Artists at their Annual Exhibition 2022.

The Royal Society of British Artists invites painters, sculptors and printmakers to submit their work for consideration to be shown in the Society’s Annual Exhibition 2022. As well as skill and draughtsmanship, they will be looking for originality and creativity. This presents the opportunity to exhibit your work at a prestigious London gallery alongside well-established artists and have your work seen by thousands of visitors, including buyers and collectors.

NEXT at Christie's: London 2022 Open Call

Next at Christie’s: London 2022 is a hybrid — physical and virtual — exhibition of works by the next generation of artists, taking place in January 2022 and hosted at Duke Street Gallery, Christie's, London. The open call welcomes all London-based artists — either currently studying or recently graduated, and not represented by a commercial gallery. The concept addresses the absurdity of contemporary reality by allowing the ‘Absurd’ to take over the exhibition's artistic and curatorial expression.

Exhibition Opportunity at The Whitaker

The Whitaker invites submissions for exhibition opportunities for artists for our Visual Arts Exhibition Programme for 2022 – 2023.

The Whitaker is a unique Museum and Gallery in Rossendale, recently re opened after a significant £2 million development and extension.  We house a number of gallery spaces where we programme visual arts exhibitions from local, national and international artists.

30 Years at Crane Kalman Gallery

This ambitious yet intimate retrospective will showcase 34 paintings created in oil and acrylic, as well as a selection of small works on paper and oil on board, and give a fascinating insight into the journey of a landscape painter and his relationship with the gallery over three decades.

This 30-year collaboration between artist and gallerist started when Nicholas Jones met Andras Kalman, the British-Hungarian art dealer who founded Crane Kalman and championed the work of L.S. Lowry, Ben Nicholson, Graham Sutherland and Mary Newcomb.

Initially more abstract, the artist’s work has since moved towards figuration and back again, and evokes the transient beauty of the natural world, and the sublime grandeur of the Arctic.
