Alex J. Ettl Grant

The Alex J. Ettl Grant is a prize of $5,000 sponsored by the National Sculpture Society.

It is awarded annually to a figurative or realist sculptor who has demonstrated a commitment to sculpting and outstanding ability in his/her/their body of work. The Ettl Grant is for a mature body of work; sculpture created in workshop or instructional settings should not be submitted.  All applicants must be citizens of or residents in the United States with a social security number.

Call for Panels for International Sculpture Conference

The International Sculpture Center’s (ISC) Conference is returning!  The ISC’s 30th International Sculpture Conference will take place in Jersey City, NJ from October 11-15, 2023.

 

The Call for Panels is open now! The ISC invites you to submit a panel proposal for this event, which aims to bring together the worldwide sculpture community to engage in dialogue about the past, present and future of the contemporary sculpture field. ISC welcomes any topics in contemporary sculpture that show diverse perspectives from around the world on the current state of the art community.

Call for Sculpture Artists! CRE8IV Rockford, IL

The Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (RACVB) works to encourage and enhance cultural life and public art in the Rockford, Illinois region through facilitation, recognition, and financial support of public art. The organization’s Forest City Beautiful initiative includes a Sculpture Biennial consisting of a two-year installation of sculptors’ work for which each artist receives an honorarium of $2,000-$4,000, dependent on size/height/scope of installed selection. The RACVB is soliciting artists for the 2023-2025 Sculpture Biennial.

Mark Tanner Sculpture Award

Deadline midnight on 18 March 2023

The Mark Tanner Sculpture Award is the most significant award for emerging artists working in the field of sculpture in the UK. We seek to reward outstanding and innovative practice in the field of sculpture and are particularly interested in work that demonstrates a commitment to process and materials. 

The award offers £10,000 in financial support towards the production of new work, plus a funded solo exhibition, to an exceptional sculptor. The award also includes a national touring programme, taking MTSA artists to partner venues across the UK.

 

Laura Ziegler Scholarship

The Laura Ziegler Scholarship is for an emerging sculptor. No age limit.

Applicants must be citizens of or residents in the United States with a social security number.

The scholarship covers most of the expenses associated with attending the National Sculpture Society's Celebration in June 2023.
