OPEN CALL: International Laboratory of Artistic Creation

Applications are open, until April 22, to participate in the third edition of the Linha de Fuga International Laboratory, a creation laboratory that is a space for meetings and exchanges of artistic practices, which will take place between September 16 and October 9, 2022, in Coimbra, Portugal.

Dedicated to the theme «The Ethics of Care», the international call will select 15 participants and is open to arts professionals and documenters who must submit a work in process, which considers the topic under discussion. Entree fee is necessary but not obligatory, Linha de Fuga works to find fellowships for the laboratory participants in need.

International Art Competition Portrait

Contemporary Art Room Gallery is proud to announce their 4th "Portrait" Online Art Competition for the month of April 2022. This is an international competition and artists from around the world are welcome to submit their work. We invite artists and photographers to submit their best artworks related to the Portrait theme. A portrait may be a single person, a group, or self-portrait. A variety of interpretations of the Portrait theme can be submitted. All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installation art) except sound and video art. Winning artists will receive a digital award certificate. First, second and third place will be largely displayed with an article about the artist and their work.

ALL GAME NO PLAY: 9th STIFF EXHIBITION PROGRAM

We are inviting visual, sound, and performing artists as well as individuals and collectives in other creative disciplines (computer scientists, mechanics, game developers, writers…) that deal with the topic of PLAY to submit their work for the exhibition program of 9th STIFF festival. We are inviting writers and poets who are open to letting their texts come to life activated by animation in space to submit their poems or short texts.

SNEHTA RESIDENCY OPEN CALL - ARTISTS 2022

Snehta Residency announces a new Open Call for its residency program for 2022. The call concerns three (3) contemporary artists working in the field of visual arts (installation, video art, performance, sculpture, etc.). Artists are to stay and work in Athens during one of the following two periods: May - June - July and September - October - November 2022. During the residency artists are invited to formulate an original research proposal under the guidance of an in-house research associate (in-house curator).

A competition to Provide aid for families fleeing the conflict in Ukraine.

100% of submission fees will be donated to DEC Disasters Emergency Committee UKRAINE HUMANITARIAN APPEAL http://dec.org.uk/

Any artist from any background can submit any of their work. There is no charge to submit your application, please feel free to share your work with us. A small fee (USD33) is applied per artist once they have been selected for the exhibition.

The team will review all applications and the selected work will be announced early April 2022.
