R.A.R.O.- BUENOS AIRES EXTENDED CALL

We are extending our call for national and international artists and curators who want to develop a residence during the month of April in any of our ateliers. Also, thanks to the support of the Metropolitan Fund of Arts and Sciences we will provide a GRANT to an artist from the interior of Argentina under 35 to develop a residency during April.

Landscapes 2020

J. Mane Gallery invites submissions for its Landscapes online juried art exhibition.  

Any landscape is the condition of the spirit.

For this competition, artists are encouraged to share their artistic vision and interpretation of the landscape-natural scenery such as mountains, valleys, trees, rivers, and forests.  The artwork may vary from realism to surrealism to abstraction, and all media are accepted, including 3-D. All artists over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, are encouraged to submit their best inspired work.

INTERCULTRURAL | Radical Imagination for Lively Villages

Ideas Factory Association (Sofia, Bulgaria) is pleased to announce an open call to artists to participate in a 1-month artistic residency, which will be held in the villages of Deleina and Sinagovtsi (Vidin district) in Northwestern Bulgaria. The residency is part of the European Cultural Foundation’s endorsed cultural and social-entrepreneurial initiatives across Europe in the Democracy Needs Imagination program.

OPEN CALL: SHOW ANYTHING SHOW 2020

The Show Anything Show 2020 is an open call for artists to exhibit simple, fast, vibrant, insightful and diverse work. We want to invite artists to present art and performance at the iconic Wee Red Bar in Edinburgh.

Anyone who would like to be involved must arrive on the 20th March between 12 pm – 3 pm to install work and enjoy a magnificent evening! We accept work from emerging and established artists as well as performers and anyone working outside the conventional art boundaries.

Mortem: Death research for artists

Mortem is a residency for artists interested in death to explore the concept from many points of view and to meet the people who work with death regularly. The residency will facilitate daily excursions led by deathcare workers, historians, artists, curators and biologists.
