Women Management was founded in New York in 1988. The vision was an agency that would encompass all types of beauty, not the traditional model that dominated the international fashion scene of the 1980s. What sprang from this vision was an agency which today commands the respect and attention of the most powerful designers, photographers, and magazines and represents some of most famous supermodels in the world. The Women board boasts stars Carmen Kass, Angela Lindvall, Mariacarla Boscono, Natasha Poly, Iselin Steiro, Caroline Trentini, Anne Vyalitsyna, Jourdan Dunn, Isabeli Fontana, Valentina Zelyaeva and Kasia Struss.

Looking to the future, Women is constantly searching for new and innovative ways to scout, develop and market its models. Recently opened offices in Paris and Milan will extend the aesthetic vision that has made Women New York the success that it is.

Up! Models opened in Stockholm on August 1st 2000. Most of the models represented have extensive experience from Milan, Paris and New York, after having been discovered through the Model Search Worldwide contest.

Gilla Roos Ltd., a full-service model and talent agency, was founded in 1974 by Gilla Roos, a model and actress who was well known for teaching New York City actors to model for "commercial print" ads. In these ads, actors portray real people in everyday (lifestyle) situations such as parents, teachers, bank tellers, patients, doctors, etc. Today, Gilla Roos Ltd represents more than 1500 models and actors and is regarded as one of the New York's top agencies for high-quality commercial print models. David Roos, Gilla's son, now owns and operates the New York office from its location in the heart of the Flatiron district.
