House of Salazar visual art submissions

House of Salazar is seeking submissions for its first volume of visual art. Our goal is to produce a cohesive, semi-themed book, featuring up to forty artists. We welcome submissions from beginners and established artists alike.

For our first volume, we are specificially seeking the following:

Charcoal figure studies, space-themed art, still life art, and watercolor architectural studies.

Impressive: Open Theme Call for Art

Las Laguna Gallery is seeking incredible works in a variety of mediums. There is no theme for this call for art. All local, national and international artists, professional and amateur and multiple art mediums will be considered in this call for art. Any theme will be considered.

Works in Acrylic, Airbrush, Assemblage, Charcoal, Color Pencil, Collage, Digital Art, Drawings, Encaustic, Graphite, Fiber Arts, Illustration, Mixed Media, New Media, Oil, Other, Painting, Pastel, Photo, Traditional and Digital Photography, Textiles, Watercolor, and more will be considered.

Open Call: Take Back Control

Calling REMAIN and LEAVE Artists of all mediums across the UK, interested in responding to the role of ‘news’ during Brexit. "Take Back Control” will offer audiences a chance to relive the gut wrenching EU referendum through a display of national newspapers and share insights into UK press agendas. Successful artists will display their work alongside a large collection of newspapers from the week leading to the Brexit vote. You can apply with existing work as long as it’s on theme, we encourage both remain and leave artists to please apply!

We’re excited to open submissions for the Sheffield Doc/Fest 2019 Film and Alternate Realities programmes, to discover the best new works in documentary and non-fiction storytelling globally. The Sheffield Doc/Fest programme offers filmmakers and creators an essential platform to launch their work at one of the world’s leading film festivals.

We champion new and authentic voices, presenting plural visions of the world present and past, and aspire to present a programme of equality in representation both on screen and behind the camera. Sheffield Doc/Fest is open to all sectors of film and media production, all lengths, and all formats.
