Deadline to enter: May 4th, 2020

The Call for Entry:

The Foundry Art Centre is seeking submissions for “Final Draft”, an exhibition showcasing design and illustration in fine art. Design and illustration affects and constructs our daily lives; from websites and social media, to billboards and greeting cards, to the way we navigate our surroundings. Visuals created with purpose and intentional design. While they can be utilized differently, illustration and design have long gone hand in hand. For this exhibition we invite all designers and illustrators to display their work in a Fine Art setting. All media is considered for submission.

Awards:

Landscape Digital Art Contest

Pixarra is announcing a call for artists for a new digital art contest under the theme of “Landscape”. Submission is free of charge and is not limited in the number of entries. 2D and 3D artists from around the world are invited to show their art.

All submissions must be digital paintings created with illustration software and the participants must have the full copyrights on them. There is not any limitation on the software used, but artists may find the newly released Tree Studio 3 useful. Traditional art, photographies, photo manipulations, collages and animation are not accepted.

The winners will be selected by a jury and will be announced on March 25.

The prizes are provided by the contest organizer as follows:

The A3 Press: Call for Chapbook Manuscripts

The A3 Press is looking for new chapbook submissions. Deadline is 10 January, 2020.

The A3 Press is a place for work that might struggle to find a traditional home, work that's lyrical and intense, a bit weird, perhaps, hybrid, experimental. We like work that is urgent, that says something about what it's like to be alive at this point in history.

Do you have a series of poems or short stories, or a long story that can be spread out over several pages? Maybe a short play in 12 parts or scenes, or even 12 very short plays? Do you have a combination of drawings and short stories? Poems and photographs? Maybe 12 drawings or photographs without text that would fit into our A3 map-fold format?
