Victory is in the Kitchen

Create a self-portrait of you in your kitchen, show the true you. Your most authentic self. 
Either create a new self-portrait or use a printed copy placed within the kitchen and photograph it.

Send in 1 Image, with name, age, pronouns, and location(if comfortable) 

 In 50 words or less answer: What does the kitchen mean to you?

Photographers of all levels are invited to submit work reflecting the theme "portraits" to A Smith Gallery by March 23, 2020.  Entries of 11 or more images are entitled to a review of submitted entry images by the gallery directors.  The entry fee is $38 for the first 5 images and $7 for each additional image.  Fifty to fifty five images will be selected for exhibition and shown in the main gallery from May 8 to June 21, 2020.  A reception will be held on May 30, 2020 from 4 to 8pm.  A Blurb full color catalogue of the exhibit with all the accepted entries will be available for purchase.

National Juried Portraits & Figures Show

CALL FOR ENTRIES:

We have chosen a new theme for this year’s juried show!  The Rice Gallery of Fine Art is now accepting submissions for Portraits & Figures: The 4th Annual National Juried Show!

This year’s juried event will celebrate the human form by exhibiting, promoting, and selling an exclusive survey of ORIGINAL PORTRAITS AND FIGURE PAINTINGS. Our experienced jurors will select the finest original paintings of human figures from artists all over the country for an exclusive feature show at The Rice Gallery of Fine Art, opening Friday, February 1st, 2019.

Figurative 2018 Art Exhibition Results Announced by Art Gallery

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its April 2018 art exhibition, the 8th Annual “Figurative” Art Exhibition is now posted on their website and can be viewed online.  The theme for this art exhibition is Figurative and artists were asked to submit their best abstract or representational figurative art for this competition. 

An international competition was held in March 2018 which determined the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 27 different countries and also received entries from 32 different states. Overall, 626 entries were judged for this art competition.

Call for Art – 8th Annual “Figurative” Online Art Competition

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 8th Annual “Figurative” Online Juried Art Competition for the month of March 2018.  The gallery invites all 2D and 3D artists (including photographers) from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in the Gallery’s April 2018 online group art exhibition.    

Light Space & Time encourages entries from artists regardless of where they reside and regardless of their experience or education in the art field.  We suggest they send the gallery their best interpretation of the theme figurative”.  “Figurative” is considered to be figures, forms and faces.
