12th Annual UNCG International Sustainability Shorts Film Competition

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

The University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG) requests submissions of short films that address sustainability, which UNCG defines as “the enduring interconnectedness of social equity, the environment, the economy, and aesthetics.”

Entries will be screened as part of the online UNCG Sustainability Film and Discussion Series. Winners will be announced and celebrated online. Judging is based on relation to sustainability as well as concept, cinematography, acting, production quality, costuming, writing, etc.

restART the planet - virtual exhibition

We are SKT, a new exciting project with the aim of creating a scattered gallery without borders. The SKTeam is promoting emerging contemporary artists and helping them to showcase and sell their artworks. Currently, we are preparing to launch our third scattered exhibition ‘restART the planet’ that will run from 24 January, 2021 to 24 February, 2021 in 2 different London city-centre locations, Notting Hill and Chelsea.

PROJECT SUMMARY – ART IN UNEXPECTED PLACES

Roswell Arts Fund, in partnership with the City of Roswell, Getty Images, and the Hagan Family Foundation is seeking entries from photographers as part of this exciting outdoor photography exhibition. The Roswell in Print photography exhibit is designed to highlight the diverse characteristics of the City of Roswell, using visual storytellers to capture it through beautiful, compelling imagery and displayed in a non-traditional space.

SOVO Issue 9: Sustainability

Sustainability describes anything that relates to maintaining ecological balance. SOVO// Magazine wants to present a unique collection of work addressing the topic of sustainability from many different angles. Current inspirations include environmentally focused writer's such as Eduardo Kohn, Donna Haraway, Robin Wall Kimmerer, Terry Tempest Williams, and David Abrams.

We believe that the experience of living and creating in a different context has to be facilitated through exchange and collaboration.
