The Ou is an artist-run gallery and residency located on Vancouver Island on the beautiful West Coast of Canada. Our residency is a personable and process based experience; a quiet place to decompress, experiment, research, play, and make space to develop new ideas. We welcome applications from emerging and established artists of all mediums and practice. Artists have 24/hr access to their dedicated studios space in an old boatbuilding workshop with open rafters and fir floors. We’re humbled and thankful to acknowledge that we live on the traditional unceded Coast Salish territory of the Tsawout First Nation.
