Hampton Arts is a division of the City of Hampton Virginia and has been showcasing Visual and Performing Arts in the community for over 35 years. Hampton Arts fulfills its mission through two facilities: The Charles H. Taylor Visual Arts Center and The American Theatre.  The Art Center curates 8 exhibitions annually and offers year-round art instruction in a multitude of mediums. The Theatre presents and produces performance art in its 388 seat stage theatre, 50 seat Cabaret theatre, dance studio, and lecture hall and is home to the Hampton Arts Education Program.
