“Modern World” Digital Art Contest

Pixarra is announcing a call for artists for a new digital art contest under the theme of “Modern Word”. Submission is free of charge and is not limited in the number of entries. 2D and 3D artists from around the world are invited to show their art.

All submissions must be digital paintings created with illustration software and the participants must have the full copyrights on them. Traditional art, photographies, photo manipulations, collages and animation are not accepted.

Participants can submit their entries at http://www.pixarra.com/competition between May 25, and June 21, 2022.

The winners will be selected by a jury and will be announced on June 24, 2022. The evaluation  criteria will be: quality, technique and thematic relevance.

Rolling Online Publication

Pigeon Review is seeking fine art submissions for publication to our online art and literary review. From a cluttered room or a cup of coffee to an inquisitive face, we like art that tells a story.  Pigeon Review is currently accepting work in the genres of portrait/figure, nature/landscape/plein air, still life, and narrative realism. Volume 16 Open Call: Publication Opportunity for Emerging Artists

Apply to have your work considered in the art book, Volume 16,by Friend of the Artist. We are dedicated to elevating the work of emerging artists of all mediums around the world through our high quality art books and caliber of exposure.

This volume will be sent out to over 40 galleries and art institutions and available for purchase at Barnes and Noble and Amazon. Accepted artists will also have a written statement about their works by an arts writer and have a 4-page spread of their work.

Volume 16 will be juried by an experienced group of jurors including Storm Ascher, Alexandra Steinacker Clark, Victor Ehikhamenor, Edoardo Monte, and Serge Tiroche

The State of Interim

A symposium on A.I. bundling diverse positions on from artists, researchers and beyond.

The Symposium will take part over three consecutive days,
during the 27th / 28th / 29th of May. The participating positions
will be bundled into three individual blocks, one for each day of
the event.

We are happy to present to you our diverse and international
program which combines artistic, theoretical and research
focussed positions and presentations.

We are looking forward to a dense weekend full of talks, dialogues
and discussions on AI, art, computing, coding, aesthetic theoriy,
performative practice and many more topics and intersections.

What is “ART ON LOOP”?

The Holy Art is launching a new hybrid show where the works will not only be displayed online in a virtual show, but also on 160 screens across London in partnership with HadsUp!
