Venice International Art Fair is a contemporary art fair that presents collective and solo projects by leading and emerging international artists. The 12th edition will represent a forum for direct exchange of ideas and contacts between collectors, artists, photographers, designers and art professionals. The art fair features paintings, sculptures, photography art, installations, video art and live performance.

ITSLIQUID Group, in collaboration with Venice Events and Ca’ Zanardi, is pleased to announce the open call for BORDERS – ITSLIQUID International Art and Architecture Festival.

BORDERS, curated by Arch. Luca Curci, will be presented in Venice at THE ROOM Contemporary Art Space, at Palazzo Ca’ Zanardi and in other prestigious venues between July 23 and November 29, 2020 in the same period of the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale “How will we live together?”, chaired by Paolo Baratta and curated by architect and scholar Hashim Sarkis.

Festival Opera Prima

This call for entries is opened to italian and international groups or artists that practice experimental theatre.
EXPERIMENTAL THEATRE is the proposal of a work that really experiments with the dramaturgy (interpreted as scenic composition), the actor, the spectator and the scenic space.
In other words, experimental theatre is all that unconventional theatre pursuing:
the autonomy of scenic language from a written play; the redefinition of the scenic space; the  reformulation of the role and the gaze of the spectator; an original actors' training; a deep connection between the actors, the company and its poetic.

Group Residency PLACE, PEOPLE and TIME: PUBLISHING AS AN ARTISTIC PRACTICE

The one-week residency will take place in Collemacchia, in Italy’s Molise region, home to The Museum of Loss and Renewal.

The residency dates are: 23 – 29 July 2022.
The deadline for applications is 14 March 2022 (midnight CET).

This Group Residency has been devised by The Museum of Loss and Renewal in partnership with Amsterdam-based The Future / The Future Publishing and Printing. It is offered for creative practitioners working with printed matter and publishing as an artistic practice and for those who have a strong interest in this area.

9 places are available on this residency. The minimum number of participants is 6.
