CONTEMPORARY VENICE 2019

The sixth edition of CONTEMPORARY VENICE will be focused on the theme of IDENTITIES and on the relationship between man, society and contemporary cities. The exhibition will explore the lifestyles and the ways of being that run on a parallel level of our ordinary life. Everyday behaviors are the actual reflection of cities and societies we have created and that have developed a personal identity. This new city character becomes the new order that modifies our everyday life. All artists are invited to reflect on the theme and present works related to it.

Lab.14 art contest

Lab.14 art contest, is a call for submissions open to all kind of artists. Works allowed in the art competition are: drawings, paintings, sculptures, photographs, graphics, mix media and video. A great opportunity for the artists, which can win a cash prize, have the opportunity to exhibit the artworks in Venice and much more. 

The competition provides for the selection of 12 finalists which will exhibit their works during the final exhibition of the contest, that will be held in Venice, at Imagoars Gallery, in early 2020. Among them will be chosen 4 winners of assigned prizes:

PRIZES: total value 5000,00€

- collaboration award for a new Malamegi collection

- artwork acquisition award

- cash prize

- monographic book prize

PICTURE THAT

PICTURE THAT 2020 is an opportunity open to photographers, artists, designers and illustrators from all over the world whose practice and research involves in some degree, but is not necessarily limited to, photography to win a free 2 week residency and workshop in photogravure and photo-lithography. 

WINNER’S PRIZE 

- Free 2-week productive residency at gate44’s print-shop in Milan, Italy between June 2020 and january 2021. ( We will personally discuss different options with you in order to work around your schedule)

- Free 2-week workshop by GATE 44’ printmakers in photogravure and  paper lithography

- Free materials (roughly 700 €): paper, inks, plates and all printshop materials necessary for the workshops

We are thrilled to kick off the  COCA20 | 2 EDITION.
The search for the best international contemporary artists has begun!

Our aim is to produce artistic projects, to stimulate the education of professional careers and to establish connections between artists and private collectors.

Our mission is to discover new talents, for this reason we give to all artists the opportunity to be observed for free. Only the artists who will be reccomended have to register as members of the COCA Center of Contemporary Artists project.

ART WOMAN 2020 - Geo-Graphies

Applications for Art Woman 2020 are closed, because the exhibit area has ended. We thank all the artists who participated and requested to join with us. See you next year! On Primo Piano Special Project website you can follow us and see our artists of Art Woman or participate in other suggestive events such as BAROQUE BLUE: Ionion Art Experience in Italy, an art residency between art and nature or Inventory Art Book Edition.
