Open City Documentary Festival creates an open space to nurture and champion the art of creative documentary and non-fiction filmmakers, and over 4,000 people attended last year's festival to enjoy some of the very best in contemporary and international documentary. Submit your film or project now for your chance to be a part of London's documentary festival.

Submissions for Open City Documentary Festival 2019 are now open. We're looking for the most exciting and innovative non-fiction storytelling in short, mid-length and feature length documentaries, short audio documentaries, as well as cross-platform projects.

Prizes are awarded in three categories:

Open City Award 
Best Emerging International Filmmaker Award 
Best UK Short Award

Job Summary:                 
Artrooms Fair is looking for motivated individuals to join our onsite volunteer team for the duration of the fair (6 days). Volunteers work closely with our artists, operation team and visitors.
The role is varied and exciting, providing valuable experience for anyone interested in events and contemporary art. Activities include hosting and event support, liaising with artists, data capture and sales support.
The shifts duration ranges from 3 to 5 hours and you must be available in the days between 10th January and 14th January 2019.

Art Maze Magazine is an independent artist-run and ad-free international print and online publication dedicated to showcasing and promoting experimental and progressive contemporary art, which reflects modern society and its environment, provokes conversation and action; fosters innovation and diversity of mediums which make today’s art scene so intriguing and versatile.

 

ELIGIBILITY: Artists are welcome to submit works in any visual medium: painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, textile, installation, mixed media, digital, film etc. All visual art mediums are welcome.

Mountview MA in Site-Specific Theatre Practice

Mountview’s MA in Site-Specific Theatre Practice is provided in partnership with Shoreditch Town Hall. The first course of its kind in the UK, the MA is created and led by Geraldine Pilgrim, a leading practitioner in the creation of site-specific theatre and installations. The course is for students interested in highly specialised training across all elements of site-specific practice.

Learning will cover practical skills and creative realisation as well as theoretical and methodological investigation.

CALL FOR ART FILMS

Delete TV investigates the captivating nature of images with the specific aim to look up to new approaches by taking distance from the conventional film making method.

The program opens a window to the world of art and offers strong, wild and uncensored works from upcoming artists and film-makers. Delete TV highlights contemporary issues in a global context, highly educational and deeply focused on intercultural exchange and visibility.
