Taller práctico de performance enfocado a lo liminal de nuestras corporalidades. Entendiendo liminal como referencia a una zona de pasaje, a una puerta de entrada, al origen de una zona de ambigüedad en la que algo deja de ser lo que era, para potencialmente poder transformarse en otra cosa.

A partir de propuestas performativas con nuestras cuerpas como materia prima, llegaremos a estados alterados de la conciencia y del ser. Destruiremos la noción del tiempo y del espacio tal y como se entiende en la actualidad. Reconectaremos con nuestra cuerpa a partir del cansancio, el agotamiento, el compartirnos en comunidad, la humildad y la otredad. Seremos semilla a partir de nuestras memorias.

360 XOCHI QUETZAL Artist and Writer's Residency Program

 

 

The 360 XOCHI QUETZAL Artist and Writer's Residency Program is located on Lake Chapala, the largest lake in Mexico, where the perfect year-round climate and stunning lake and mountain views have long established the region as an international artist mecca. Residents will be inspired by the natural beauty, history and culture of this special part of central Mexico. Chapala is located 25 minutes from Guadalajara International Airport (GDL) and 45 minutes from Guadalajara, one of the largest cities in Mexico boasting abundant cultural resources: museums, galleries, theatre and artist supplies. Xochi Quetzal is the Aztec goddess of creativity and fertility and protector of artisans. She is sure to inspire you during your stay!

International Playable Theatre Lab

The International Playable Theatre Lab is a two-week digital residency offering artists in North Macedonia and Mexico the opportunity to explore the potential of interactive and playable theatre. We will bring together three theatre makers in North Macedonia and three in Mexico for a two-week online programme of exchange, training, mentoring and peer support. Each day of the residency, artists will take part in a half-day online workshop exploring a different approach to making theatre playable in the digital space, delivered by mentor artists who are expert in this approach.

BEAUTIFUL ARTISTS HOME IN MEXICO CITY

I am an artist living and working between London and Mexico City.  My house in Mexico City will be available for rent from April of 2024. There is also a window from 8 September - 7 October this year, 2023. 

The house is in the very heart of Mexico City in Colonia Roma in a gated mews. It is a wonderful place in which to create some work and absorb the wonders of Mexico City, which are varied and many!

The house comprises of:

One double bedroom, en suite bathroom, small downstairs patio, dining room, kitchen, living room (with sofa bed), piano, roof terrace with separate office, bathroom and a bright and airy studio. There is also space to work outside.
