Call to Artists: Collage & Illustration Residency – Orlando: A Biography

During the Collage & Illustration Residency – Orlando: A Biography, selected artists will embark on a creative exploration of Virginia Woolf’s 1928 groundbreaking work, examining themes of identity, transformation, and the fluidity of time. This virtual residency, part of Kolaj Institute’s ongoing Collage & Illustration project, seeks to bring together a dynamic group of artists who are passionate about merging art, literature, and the human experience. The resulting illustrations will be published alongside Orlando: A Biography, allowing artists to bring a fresh, contemporary perspective to this timeless narrative. A curated selection of artwork will also be exhibited at Kolaj Fest New Orleans 2024.

Colorful Creatures International Virtual Exhibition

Submit your art and photography of animals, creatures, and critters! 2D and 3D artwork and photography.

For this exhibition, we want COLOR. Show us your vibrant backgrounds, your bold-colored fur and feathers. Focus on one hue or transport us with a rainbow. We want it all!

All entries must be the original artwork of the submitting artist. Artwork must not have been accepted to one of our previous shows.

Submit your art and photography animal portraits. There are so many styles of animal portraiture in the world now, show us yours! We are especially happy when a portrait tells us something about the animal. This could be anything from their personality to their favorite food. Something as simple as the angle of a collar or whether or not a lion's mane is perfectly groomed can give hints about the subject of your art or photography.
