Opulent Mobility 2019

Opulent Mobility 2019 is open for submissions!
We want your art that re-imagines disability, mobility, and access as opulent and powerful.
Please submit your work by June 30th at 5 PM, PST. $20 flat fee.

This is a juried exhibit co-curated by A. Laura Brody, Celene Ryan, and Anthony Tusler. This year, the show will be at the Dora Stern Gallery at Arts Unbound in City of Orange, New Jersey, and the exhibit will also be posted online.

We accept all types of media: 2-dimensions, sculptural, film, music files, and videos of performances and spoken word.

THE WALL SERIES VOL. 8

Dear fellow Performing Artists…

We are looking forward to our 8th volume of The Wall Series at PAUL Studios Berlin! This bi-monthly performance series gives artists an opportunity to present their works in progress or finished works in an intimate setting for an enthusiastic audience.

For Vol. 8, we are looking for artists who would like to present their work on Friday, July 5th and Saturday, July 6th 2019. We are open to performers of all disciplines interested in sharing their pieces in an intimate venue and/or in an outdoor space. All performers will receive 5 hours of free rehearsal time at PAUL Studios Berlin prior to the performance.

Submitted performances must:

Be under 20 minutes in length

CAGLIARI (Italy), VI EDITION 

In November 2019, Kyber Teatro organises in Cagliari (Italy) the 6° Edition of the International Theatre, Art and New Technologies Festival called “Le meraviglie del Possibile”.

LMDP Festival is the first of this kind in the whole Italy. Its aim is to promote the interrelation between artistic and technological languages.

Kyber Teatro – spin off of L’Aquilone di Viviana (theatre and new technologies company, creator and manager of LMDP Festival), addresses to Italian and International artists an Open Call to submit their projects about “Interaction between arts and technology”.

Open call for the Being Summer event! Practitioners across all arts, performance and cultural industry disciplines welcome!

We are currently accepting applications from local, national & international artists & cultural producers for our yearly residency during Frome Festival in the Somerset warehouse, being summer, 05.07.19 - 14.07.19.

With both residential & non residential opportunities, residents interpret what being human means to them. The opportunity is suitable for practitioners across all arts, performance & cultural industry disciplines.

Beinghuman is interested in innovative, cross discipline work with an inter connected ethos, that examines environmental or humanitarian issues & embeds creative ways of reinterpreting traditional wisdom for the modern world. Work that explores what it means to be human, right here, right now.
